Jim Thompson Restaurant, Bangkok

Jim Thompson Restaurant pays respect to the legacy of the entrepreneur (and spy).

The design company HBA has incorporated over 70 pieces of Jim Thompson Home Furnishings into the interior design of the restaurant's dining room, which further contributes to the historically rich setting.

Entrance to the Jim Thompson House Museum.
In 1958, Jim Thompson began what was to be the pinnacle of his architectural achievement, a new home to live in and to showcase his art collection.

Central square of the museum house.
This collection of superb old houses is not, however, as is often written, an example of traditional Thai architecture: the residence of Kukrit Pramoj and the Kamthieng House of the Siam Society are in this respect models of Thai architecture much more authentic.
