Hmong Village, Luang Prabang

Great place to stop on the way to or from Kuang Si Falls. Very welcoming sellers and great craft available at reasonable prices.

Great choice if you want to help the local community and pick up some souvenirs for your loved ones.

There is a small traditional Hmong house and museum at the back. They can give you an insight into the local traditional culture.

The Hmong people are an indigenous group in East and Southeast Asia. In China, the Hmong people are classified as a sub-group of the Miao people.

  • The modern Hmong reside mainly in Southwest China (Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Chongqing, and Guangxi) and countries in Southeast Asia such as Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.
