Chichoy Restaurant

Chichoy had its beginnings in 1970, in Agua Escondida as Café Chichoy, a place surrounded by forests and water sources. It was the concern of the German Federico Cartens and his wife Mercedes Güitz, originally from the place, to start the project. Chichoy, which means "on the shores of the lagoon" in the Kaqchiquel language, was created with the idea of helping the people of the region and positioning itself as a gastronomic destination, cuisine that gave life to our traditional "feet of the house" and our acquaintances snacks that have seen us grow.

Signature dishes: barbecue, chicken broth, smoked sausages, fruit pie.
