Ma-U-Ale Village, Monywa

Ma Au village is located halfway on the road between Monywa and Pakokku.

Antique complex of statues and pagodas beautifully carved on XIV century, kind of abandoned but well maintained, so the statues are in good condition to appreciate the artistry.

Very few tourist and great place to buy handcrafted incense sticks made by the villagers.
