Raisar Camp

Raisar Camp is an innovative adventure in boundless ocean of velvety sand of Rajasthan. Discover majestically either on camel or on camel cart. It is a perfect setup between sand dunes in Raisar village, near Bikaner. You will find us eagerly waiting to give you a wonderful journey through desert.

You reach the camp from the hotel through the sandy tracks, enroute untamed countryside, visiting one of the remotest village. You cant turn your eyes away from spectacles of distant sand dunes shining brightly in the sun light. You will see occasional passer by's with turbans bigger than their head, meticulously plaited. There is a varied store of wild life in this area; Antelope, Fox, Jackal, Rabbit, Blue Bull, Desert Cat, Chameleon, Monitor Lizard, Mongoose, Hedgehog, Squirrel etc.

You can witness village houses, herds of cattles, colorful dresses, the life style of villagers living without basic amenities of urban culture. On your route to camp, you enjoy fauna and flora of desert in its fullest. As you reach to camp, camel carts give you a round of the desert. And at the end of the day, you are free to take an evening stroll and absorb the total tranquility of the bush at dusk. The camp has all amenities and we provide you a gala dinner with folk lore, music and dance besides camp fire. When your adventure is over, the memories of this outstanding experience will remain with you for many years.

The dining area is made up of tables placed in a semi-circle around a round stage.


Dinner is served.
A delicious BBQ dinner with grilled specialties cooked on site awaits you as well as a choice of appetizers, salads and sweets.

Ghoomar is a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan.

  • The dance typically involves performers pirouetting while moving in and out of a wide circle.
  • The word ghoomna describes the twirling movement of the dancers and is the basis of the word ghoomar.

Bhavai Folk Dance.
Bhavai is a genre of folk dance popular in Rajasthan state in northern India.

  • The male or female performers balance a number of earthen pots or brass/metal pitchers as they dance nimbly, pirouetting and then swaying with the soles of their feet perched on the top of a glass bottles, on the edge of the sword, on the rim of a brass/metal thali (plate) and on the broken glass during the performance.
