Visiting Karballa and the little city of Guzelyurt is relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. It doesn't feel like many of the tourist areas that are overcrowded. You can explore caves and old churches or just relax and enjoy the silence, or have a cup of elma chai at the square in town. Karballa is peaceful, a former monastery and girls school.
