Unearthed from Straight Street in 1950, the Roman Triumphal Arch was excavated from a depth of 5m below current ground level and placed in exactly the same position above ground. Al-Amin, beside the Mariamiya Church, Damascus, Syria. The Arch dates back to the 3rd century.
